At times we find ourselves experiencing problems and difficulties. We may respond in ways to barely get by and keep moving forward. Sometimes we struggle to feel a sense of belonging or feel consumed with negative thoughts and emotions. Maybe it’s our past that is keeping us from being in the present moment or it’s adding to our overall stress. In therapy, we can identify new ways to cope with difficulties and other life struggles that may be hurting our overall health or relationships. Martin provides a compassionate and caring environment for his clients. His style is relaxed, laid back, and non-judgmental to better help you find new options to succeed in life. The sessions will consist of collaborative work with Martin being on your side, listening to you, and asking meaningful questions to help support you to reach your goals. Martin has experience working with individuals ranging from children to older adults, families, and couples. Therapy sessions in Spanish or Español are also available if needed. He also works with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, domestic violence survivors, acculturation difficulties, grief and loss, stress, caretakers, and major life changes. Martin also works with individuals who identify with the LGBTQ+ community and will always provide a safe space. Martin utilizes multiple approaches to help you get to where you need to be which includes cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian, mindfulness-based approaches, solution focus, and direct approaches when needed.
